I joined the StrongTower Team in 2014, and God’s timing couldn’t have been more perfect! It has been such a blessing to work with Godly, loving people who do so much more than work together—we do life together.

My hometown of Picher, Oklahoma is now considered a ghost town, but it holds many special memories with family, friends, and our church family from the Picher Church of the Nazarene. My parents relocated our family to south-central Arkansas when I was nine years old. I completed high school at Fordyce High School and then continued my education at the University of Arkansas at Monticello where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. I moved to Hot Springs in 2010 and hope to call it home from here on out.

I am extremely fortunate to come from a family that not only raised me in a safe & loving home, but that also made our faith a part of our daily life. My parents are high school sweet-hearts and best friends more than 50 years, two daughters, and four-grandsons later.

Two of those four grandsons, Ty and Beckett, are mine. Ty graduated from Lake Hamilton High School in 2023 and is currently attending college; he’s undecided on a career path at this time. Beckett, who is almost ten years younger than his brother, enjoys math, music, and of course video games.

Our home occasionally feels like a bunch of wild animals live there due to the traffic of a busy mom, two equally busy boys, our three pet cats (one of which was SUPPOSED to be an outside cat), and two raccoons that were placed with me at around 10 days old. I will be overwintering them and plan to release them in the spring of 2025.

After more than a decade of trying to convince my family to move to Hot Springs, I was finally successful in 2022 when both my parents and my sister, her husband, and their two sons all packed up and moved this way. With everyone in one location again, we set about looking for a new church where, hopefully, our three families could worship together.

After our second visit to Hot Springs Baptist Church, all nine of us were in complete agreement that we had found our church home. We joined the following weekend and have been active members since.
